Your central hub for facility configuration — categories, spaces, users, contracts, integrations, and more.
Overview
The Administration area is where you configure everything about your facility. Categories, spaces, users, contracts, payment processing, billing rules — it all lives here.
To get here: Click Administration in the main navigation. You’ll see a grid of cards, each linking to a different settings area.
Only users with the Administrator role can access Administration. Operators won’t see this menu item. See User Roles for details.
Administration sections

Recommended setup order
If you’re setting up LeaseLlama for the first time, work through these in order:

| 6 | Users | Add staff members who need access |
| 7 | Tags | Optional — create labels for custom organization |
Once complete, you’re ready to start checking in renters.
Minimum viable setup
Don’t have time for everything? You can start renting with just:
- System Settings — company name, timezone, tax rate
- Integrations — connect Stripe
- Categories — at least one
- Spaces — your actual storage units
Add contracts, users, tags, and other settings when you’re ready.
Common questions
Do changes affect existing rentals? Most settings only affect new activity. Price changes don’t retroactively update current rentals. Invoice text changes don’t update already-sent invoices.
Can I undo changes? Most settings can be changed freely. The notable exceptions are: categories can’t be changed on existing spaces (delete and recreate), and invoices are permanent financial records.
