Renter Profile
The renter profile page — view contact info, account stats, contract status, and navigate to all renter details.
Overview
The Renter Profile page is the central hub for everything about a specific customer. From here you can see their contact info, check their account health at a glance, manage their contract, and navigate to their rentals, invoices, payments, and more.
To get here: Go to Renters → click any Renter-ID.
Account overview stats
Four numbers at the top give you an instant read on this renter:
| Stat | What it means |
|---|---|
| Active Rentals | How many spaces they’re currently renting |
| Balance Due | Total unpaid across all their invoices |
| Account Credits | Credits available to apply to future invoices |
| Deposit Balance | Total security deposits held |
These update automatically — pay an invoice and the balance drops; check out a new space and the deposit balance rises.
Profile tabs
Below the header, you’ll see tabs to access every aspect of this renter’s account:
| Tab | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Profile | Contact information and contract status (this page) |
| Active Rentals | Spaces currently being rented |
| Authorized Persons | People with access to the renter’s spaces |
| Payment Methods | Cards on file and manual payment authorization |
| Invoices | All invoices for this renter |
| Ledger | Complete transaction history |
| Credits | Account credits available |
| Deposits | Security deposit status |
Onboarding requirements
If a renter still needs to complete setup before they can rent a space, you’ll see yellow banners at the top:
- “Payment method required” → Go to the Payment Methods tab and add a card or enable manual payments
- “Contract acceptance required” → Send the contract or upload a signed copy (see below)
These banners disappear once the requirements are met.

The profile card shows the renter’s details:

Click Edit Renter Profile (top right) to update any of these fields.
Contract agreement
LeaseLlama gives you two ways to get a signed contract from each renter. Both appear as cards at the bottom of the Profile tab.
Online (email) contract
Send the contract electronically for the renter to review and accept:
- Click Email Contract for Acceptance
- The renter receives an email with a link to review and sign
- When they accept, you’ll see a green checkmark with the date, a unique acceptance token, and their IP address
The token and IP address serve as proof of electronic signature — useful if there’s ever a dispute.
Use Resend Contract Email if they lost the first one, or Email Updated Contract if you’ve published a newer version.
Manual (paper) contract
For contracts signed on paper or outside the system:
- Print and have the renter sign the contract
- Scan or photograph the signed document (PDF)
- Click Upload Signed Contract and select the file
- Click Mark as Accepted to complete
You can view, download, or replace the uploaded contract at any time.
Revoking acceptance
Click Revoke Acceptance on either card to reset the renter to pending status. They’ll need to accept again. Use this if:
- The contract was accepted in error
- You need them to sign an updated version
- There’s a dispute about the agreement
Common questions
Why can’t I check out a space to this renter? Check the onboarding banners — they likely need a payment method or contract acceptance.
What’s the difference between online and manual contracts? Online sends an email link for electronic acceptance (with a digital signature trail). Manual lets you upload a paper-signed PDF.
Can I have both? Yes, but only one counts as the current accepted agreement.
How long does the email contract link last? 30 days. If the renter doesn’t accept in time, resend it.
